David joined us on 1st September 1968. He was a prolific song writer, and all the songs he performed with us were self penned. He was also an acoustic guitarist and used his talents to help us learn his songs. Four of his songs are remembered. The Alabatross was never recorded, but was featured in live performances as was Chastity Belt - David's version of an old folk classic (very popular on USAAF bases). Two recordings survive. I'm Gonna' Make Her Mine and Love Is Forever. David left the group on 22nd February 1969. |
